Auction Conditions

1. All bidders must register to bid and make purchases prior to auction. You must be over 18yrs and over to register to bid

2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid at their discretion 

3. The highest bidder will be the purchaser who will have the first right of refusal if the item is referred. If a dispute arises and the auctioneer cannot determine the winning bidder, the item in dispute may go up again for re-auction

4. Descriptions and catalogues can be changed at any time prior to the sale without prior notice l. The auctioneer and vendor reserve the right to remove lots at their own discretion. 

5. All goods must be taken as is. Neither vendor or auctioneer will be liable for errors in description of goods or the quantity of goods. No guarantee or warranties are offered on any goods being sold by the auctioneer or vendors. Any difficiency in the quantity of the goods sold will not invalidate the sale. The vendor or auctioneer are never required to deliver more than is in their possession

6. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure all items purchased for intended use in the Workplace including plant, equipment or power tools are in a safe condition,  including testing and tagging of all electrical leads. As per the Occupational health and safety act 2004.

7. A buyers premium of 16.5% including GST is applicable to all purchases made through Paul Roberts Auctions P/L

8. All goods must be paid for in full within 48hours of auction end unless prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer. All items may not be collected until full payment has been received. 

9. In the case of non payment, the lot or lots may be put up for re-auction and sold. Again at auctioneers discretion, the defaulters bids may not be accepted. 

10. In all online auctions, online live bids take priority bid over any absintee or phone bids in the case that identical bids have be submitted.

11. Whilst attending the auction, including inspections and collections, all person are wholly and solely responsible for injuries to either themselves or others and for any property damage caused by their person. No liability applies in any way to the auctioneer, staff, vendors or any outside vendors.

12. Payment methods accepted will be only by cash, direct bank transfer and eftpos/credit cards(please note any surcharges apply).

13. Dates and time for collections at each and every sale will vary and be announced prior to the sale. It is up to the buyer to ensure they are able to collect on specified dates and times only

14. By registering, bidding and participating in an auction, you acknowledge you have fully read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of each and every sale
